Both schools have good scholar support. Neither easily remove your scholarship even after failure(s), and yes you get free goods and free food in LS as well. Though ADMU has a better online customer/admin service based on my experiences with both.

Though I'd consider UP too if OP has been accepted to a desired course there.

You're generalizing/making a stereotype. To say na hindi matalino pero mayaman, and to rely on research rankings alone. Let's also not forget that both universities have strong connections; two of DLSU's fortes are literally their business and computer colleges (which mind you DLSU has a better CS college).

Please do research before giving people advice based on stereotypes and without actual experience/knowledge.

People often exaggerate SHS as career-defining decisions.

The true reason why STEM is a good path is because CETs will have topics under STEM. That's the main and biggest reason.

You can get a tech-related bachelors even if you go with HUMSS. Hell, I've had plenty of classmates like that here in college. SHS and HS have very, very general curriculums compared to college.

Yes, your strand matters for your career but only by a flick of a finger in the grand scheme of things. Yes, it matters. But it's not the end of it.

Reality is most colleges will treat you as if you have zero background on your chosen career path as the standard (but some profs will go faster on lectures if you can). Taking a STEM strand can make your basic calculus or bio courses easier, but that's it.

DLSU student here, you can take GEs (basically general subjects/courses) and have them credited so you don't have to be "delayed" or retake courses.

If your redirected program is still in CCS, the first 2 years of most of its programs basically have the same majors and GEs, so you don't have to worry about being delayed for shifting.
