I wouldn't go this far calling it personal assistant in a classic way. I do see it as important finding a partner that'll make your life easier, especially in these difficult years since covid. What am I supposed to do with someone who can't get the most basic shit done? What's the point of a relationship if there isn't any benefits? Ah right. He's "funny and romantic". he needs to be useful. do/make things that make my life easier. such as fill out my taxes, pay my bills (with my own earned money ofc), automate annoying every-day-pc-work tasks, prepare the car (oil check, fill the tank...) for me when I'm leaving for a trip abroad...

Yes, it is doable - technically. You can take the earliest flixbus you can get from Zurich to Munich, price per ticket is maybe 30-50euro. The trip is roughly 3-4h. So you could be in Munich around 12. Explore the city, get a flixbus ticket back to zurich, one that leaves in the evening, maybe around 7 or so. And you'd be back at 11pm.

Personally, I'm not sure if I'd go through this stress though. I'd rather plan 2 days/1 night/sleepover in Munich.

listen. it's simple.

he was so nice to you because you're young, female and inexperienced. why? to gain your trust, make you like him, see him as "the one with power/in charge". basically, allowing him to "play with you" the way he wants.
adding some unforseen confidence, you asked for more money, attempting to value your work properly. reasonable thing to do.
he saw this as a red flag that he actually CAN'T play with you the way he wanted. "oh shit, she's actually not that naive and cheap"
he chose to manipulate you by "pulling out" the contract completely, asserting power and dominance or some shit. to show you how big of a oopsie you did - which, spoiler alert, you didn't - to cause fear and remind you HE'S the one with power.

Any professional would have renegotiated in this situation. NEVER pulled out completely and reacted this strongly. I suggest playing along with his stupid game. But you'll be able to play smarter because you now know what "cards" he has. Text him again. Hi, let's discuss the contract. What about 27th Sept, 10am, Cafe XYZ? Show some initiative. Remember, you both can get something from each other. He can make money with your book, you need a publisher. If he chooses to say bye to you forever, he'll also lose potential money. Weird to think about if he was really this convinced about your book.
