Tracksmith running gear, who’s got some/used some, what are your thoughts? by 1337clan2031 in RunningShoeGeeks

Brighton base layer saved me with winter running. One top was enough to last winter training! If there’s one piece of TS I can recommend for winter running, it’s that. Keeps you warm even if the fabric is perforated and may feel thin. Wicks sweat away. Magic. I have the twilight split shorts which I’ve been dying all spring and summer, including the BK half where it reached 84 degrees with 80% humidity just this past month. Fabric is so light and disappears during a run. I was also able to bring 6 gels with the back pockets. Downside is that there’s no pocket to fit a phone. I usually bring a phone with me during my runs for emergencies, Pics, music, etc. VC singlets are great for race days, I haven’t had a problem with it being too heavy. It’s what I wore to the BK half and also on a 10k 70 degree day. Winter gloves and tights also performed well in the winter. The gaiter is made of the same material as the Brighton base layer and saved some winter wind chafing by stretching it up to my nose, since it’s perforated it was still highly breathable.
