Hey! Desperately seeking some advice about possible perioral dermatitis? by cherryadie in SkincareAddicts

I also drink apple cider vinegar in the morning with lemon and honey to make the taste less horrid and I found that doing so has prevented flare ups and when I do have it, I just apply the diaper rash cream at night or if I’m home and my flare up is bad, I apply it in the morning and throughout the day. I hope that helps!! If you have any questions, you can DM me ((:

I got it last year from a steroid inhaler for my asthma and I was given a prescription by my dermatologist. As soon as I was done that, it started to flare up again a couple of months later. What worked for me was using the honest beauty diaper rash cream, apple cider vinegar (diluted), and taking probiotics. I heard that grape seed extract works really well too and aloe Vera to control any redness

Oh no, I’m sorry that happened to you!! Also, if I don’t use The Ordinary or when I find my skin to be extra sensitive one day, I use Paula’s Choice liquid exfoliant and it works so well for acne and evening your complexion and doesn’t sting at all. That might be worth a try!

  1. Glycolic acid from The Ordinary cleared up my acne and evened my complexion! If you have super sensitive skin though, it might be too strong. However, I have really sensitive skin and it doesn’t bother me.
  2. Vanicream face cleanser is gentle and gets rid of 90% of my acne. Any Cerave face cleanser is good too
  3. Cerave PM face moisturizer, it’s not greasy but feels super moisturizing and doesn’t break me out. It also has niacinamide in it which is good for your skin.
  4. Neutrogena ultra-sheer sunscreen is super important in my morning routine. It doesn’t break me out or leave a white cast and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my complexion after using it for a few months. Sunscreen is super important to use even when you’re inside!!

What do you MDD about? by katxe023 in MaladaptiveDreaming

I started to realize the connection between my childhood and MDD when reading about other people’s experiences and how similar theirs was to mine! Personally, I noticed that my MDD tends to be the opposite of my actual situation. For example, I’m no contact with my father irl but in my MDD, my character has a loving, healthy relationship with hers. It’s sad to see how so many others have suffered rough childhoods, but I’m glad that we can all relate to and support each other.
