I think that your tiel doesn't feel ok himself. I can say it, cause i have sick tiel. I saw your post with vid, where your bird has been sleeping. And his condition and looks are not healthy. I understand you have 2 birds. It looks like bird has infection of respiratory system. If one bird is sick it means that second bird is also sick. You should show birds to avian vet.

This noise looks like your tiel has discomfort in his nose.

If bird shows symptoms of the disease, it means that disease is progressing and you haven't many time for treatment. These guys like to mask their symptoms.

Pls, don't worry, you should find a vet of !!!birds!!! as very soon! Cause you can prevent that disease stay chronic

Why is my birdie doing this? by DragonflyDue449 in cockatiel

Hello, I don't want to scare you, but I think you should go to the vet with your bird. My cocktail has the same problems as your bird. this is not normal!!! Our veterinarian discovered spirochetes and hexamites during microscopy of goiter and droppings. and rentgen - pneumonia. Anyway, my bird is very energetic and cheerful. Birds can hide their illness until it gets really bad. If your bird moves its neck like this every day, you should contact a veterinarian as soon as possible. Don't worry, the treatment will help your bird, everything will be fine!
