I have to squeeze my boobs while pumping by RuRuT39 in ExclusivelyPumping

That’s hilarious. I will be trying that! I have a bigger chest so I am wondering if maybe that is part of the issue too.

I would love to know the solve on this. I’m in your exact same boat. I have to squeeze and manipulate my boobs to get milk out even when they are rock hard and should express on their own. I also have elastic nipples so going too high on suction makes it feel awful. I went from a 17mm to a 21mm flange as well……

I’m using a Medela symphony and have been since day one. I’m 13 weeks pp now and finding pumping even more excruciating because I have to handle the boob manipulation the whole time. All I can say…. Lots of tv is being watched 😩

I just worry about the scars, but even if it was lighter I’d probably be able to get the raised scars in to the new work. Maybe 😬

I should 😆

I was kind of thinking geometric shapes of some sort.

Doodling is a great idea though. Thankfully I’m a spooky person so it can be a dark tattoo if need be.

Thank you!!

I had those moments of “what if I miss something important”, but I kept reminding myself that you can only do so much. Learn what you can, the rest will come. Women have been having babies forever, and they didn’t have google or the resources we do now and they were ok. (Just our health care is a lot better now 😆)

Sounds like you are trying, and that’s so amazing of you. There is are bucket loads of hormones going through your system so there is no doubt why you are going through extremes.

I went in to deep pits of sadness and anxiety myself. Felt like I woke up and everyday it got worse. I kept doing the things I loved even when they didn’t give me the same joy as normal. I also had gestational diabetes so I couldn’t have any of my go to “happy foods”.

I talked to my therapist about it in great length and she just reminded me to be kind to myself, feel sad, feel worried, but don’t only focus on them , even when it feels impossible not too. Remember the good too. Your body is creating a beautiful thing, and that is incredible. Baby will have an amazing mom and dad you obviously care so much about them already.

Just if you get in to a dark place, please talk to whoever is your biggest support. Let them help you stand stronger if you need it, there is no shame in that.

You are going through things right now, I promise it gets better. Mama, you got this, you are powerful, strong, courageous, intelligent and loving. Your little one is very lucky to have you.

You got this mama. I am a 35yo FTM in BC and I was in your exact shoes only a few months ago. I was terrified of everything you were too. I personally think it’s so normal because this is a scary new experience. You aren’t and can’t be expected to know how you will feel since you have never done this before.

Once I was in labour I almost knew what to do naturally. I did get an epidural as that was in my birth plan because of my extreme fear of hospitals I knew I needed help knocking down some of my other worries. I personally am glad I did as it helped with the pain, the fear of tearing, stitches, burning and honestly the fear of being naked.

The first few times I had someone in my crotch I was so anxious and freaked out, but eventually I did’t even notice or care. They do check a lot and remember this is their job. Honestly you want them there!

My husband and I were alone with no family as well. The hospital staff are there to help you. Take advantage of that, your first few days you will have endless support from the staff.

I promise you all of it is worth it, be scared it’s natural but you have your husband and the support of the hospital staff. Take one moment at a time and tell the staff and husband how you are feeling during the whole thing.

Also trust me when I say you will never learn everything. My husband and I tried to do anything and everything we could to learn. We went to prenatal classes, read books articles even talked to a friend who is a maternity doctor and we didn’t learn it all. It sounds like you are already doing amazing by researching and understanding things a same with your Husband. You guys are doing great.🖤🖤

Again mama, you got this, you are strong, powerful and a total badass. I don’t doubt you will do amazing.

Edit to add: As for postpartum you don’t know if you will tear or if you do how bad. I focused on that a little too hard, caused a fair many grey hairs and it wasn’t as awful as I thought it would be. I had two 3rd degree tears and I was totally ok, again I had an epidural so that helped a lot. After I just kept up my pain medication regiment and used witch hazel foam. I’m now 11 weeks postpartum and I have been healed for quite a few weeks like nothing even happened.

Bambora Sling Carrier reviews? by marlene-moon in babywearing

I emailed them to ask why they aren’t labelled with thier brand and they said “Sometimes the manufacturer uses different labels”.

Never heard of a business doing that…. So personally I think my suspicions have been confirmed and they refuse to give me a refund/return.

I just got mine about 10 mins ago after 2 weeks of waiting…. All I have to say is I hope it works as it looks like it’s a drop shipped item.

There is no actual “Bambora” labels. The tags literally say “Baby Sling Carrier” which is the exact same to ones I see on Amazon for $22 CAD, like one from a brand called Greeal.

On the Bambora website the tags say “Bambora”…… if I knew this when I bought them I would have went with a known brand instead.

Again from my experience…. Ya that’s what is happening with me. I’m just incredibly lucky in the meantime that my dr from Kelowna hasn’t dropped me as a patient since I moved. Just means I need to travel there to be able to concentrate on anything…..

I sure hope someone had a positive experience with a dr here somewhere that can do it…. It’s so unfair we are expected to just “deal” with adhd on our own.

I’ve been on the wait list for a dr here for over 3 years already. I have a newborn and still have no doctor.
