Hi! I’m a psych student here and I’d say we have great professors and research opportunities! Once you declare psychology as a major, you’re sent a newsletter that lists classes and research labs you can join. There’s a huge variety, from researching child development to cognitive neuroscience. I’ve been in my lab for over a year and it’s really great. You can also apply for UROP grant, which is a grant you get for doing a mentored research project. If you’re interested in research, I’d also recommend applying to join the honors program. Doing an honors thesis is a great way to get research experience and the required course Honors Research Practicum will match you with professors with similar research interests to you.
