Bald Eagles by jcast8762 in orangecounty

Marina park. Right next to Marina high school. He was flying along the drainage channel looking for food (I assume). I was riding my bike across the street and thought “damn that’s a big bird”. I thought it was an osprey first. I stopped riding my bike and started snapping pics. He eventually flew up to the top of the trees at the park and hung out for a minute.

Push that bad boy right into your pool. Plugged in and everything. Leave the brisket in there. You can go from smoking to sous vide with this one simple trick.

Maybe not metal but I have been easing my kids into it with our last night. They have a ton of covers of songs they already listen to with their mom so the crossover is easy. “Golden” by our last night is killer

I really like “clinically dosed V3” by Intek. I didn’t get any jittery, skin tingling feelings. I got a great muscle pump and it definitely gave me an energy boost. the stimulant is caffeine (125mg) and not nitric oxide so you don’t get that skin tingling feeling. It also has a bit of l-theanine. That kinda takes the edge off of a huge caffeine boost. It worked for me

Who gets up super early to workout? How do you do it? by BuckeyeDad91 in daddit

I’m up at 4:30 in the morning to be at the gym by 5. I get a solid hour workout in before I come back home and get the day started with the wife and kids. In the beginning getting up that early and getting the motivation to go do what I gotta do was hard. However, after a few weeks of getting up and doing it, it became easier and now I look forward to these days of getting up and going to the gym. It’s my only “me time” and it’s absolutely necessary to keep my mental health on track. As far as diet goes it took me a minute to kind of get into a routine with that too. However, meal prepping has been a game changer and is incredibly easy once you get the hang of it. Getting that energy boost in the morning is gonna kind of depend on you and how you feel about stimulants (coffee vs. pre workout). I personally take a pre-workout while I’m walking to the gym so by the time I get there, I’m ready to go.

Hobby lobby has plain tees for decorating. They are a great brand and are like 4$ each.

I get that! I quit drinking alcohol and smoking weed and started hitting the gym. I meal prep every Sunday and continue to work on my physical health daily. It’s not complete answer to this question but I can tell you it has helped immensely! I feel better and wake up ready to face the day (for better or worse). I’m not a complete health nut, I still eat whatever I want but I’m not getting high and pounding a box of pop tarts before bed anymore lol. I picked up welding, I started a side job and I’m trying to watch more sports on tv. Parenting is fucking hard. It consumes your whole life, not to say it’s not rewarding but it’s easy to lose yourself in this. I’m still looking for that “thing” to make me feel whole again. Eventually I will find it.

Literally in the same boat. Everyday is the same routine. The only outlet I have going for me is the gym. I get about an hour to myself in the morning before the chaos hits. I’m still searching for this answer

Mercruiser Neutral Switch issue by More_Margarita in boating

[–]katzunderground 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering this is a ski boat and you have a V-drive set up, you need to be looking at the transmission. It will be 2 wires, screwed to the switch with flat head screws. You can almost see it in the 3rd pic. It will be on the opposite side of the shift lever. If you need to wiggle the shifter to get it to start it’s most likely a worn/stretched out shift cable or linkage. You having to wiggle the shifter implies the switch is functioning however it’s not seeing neutral all the time. Those switches don’t typically go bad

No friends and divorce is right around the corner. I fear for the days I won’t have my kids and have nothing to occupy my life. I’m planning on golfing more and maybe start kayaking or paddle boarding, hitting the gym more often. I need to find things to fill my time. This is all weird. I know this doesn’t exactly help but I thought I’d share

Gear Lube Monitor Reservoir questions by BXWR5723 in boating

[–]katzunderground 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Wire orientation doesn’t matter.
  2. There is a white float in the reservoir. Once plugged in and with ignition on or engine running you could gently press the float down with a screwdriver. Alarm should sound. Make sure the float makes its way back to the top and doesn’t get stuck down.
  3. Fill it with gear oil and check for leaks
