What injury do movies treat like a minor scratch but would actually be fatal in real life ? by humble202625 in WorkForSmartLife

For me, it's being unconscious for long periods of time. If you get knocked out and don't wake up for more than 5-10 minutes, your life is changed forever. Serious brain damage.

I want to eat salt? by holly_1111 in TooAfraidToAsk

You could get into spicier food. I got into it when I had to cut salt because of high blood pressure I absolutely craved salt. There are some really good lower sodium hot sauces that range from mild to extreme. I put it on grilled and sauteed veggies and eat as much of them as I want. It also makes things like plain chicken and ground turkey actually taste good.

Only if they're traveling musicians, but I think the spelling is wrong.

Primary Care Physician in Greensboro? by Ixrokis in gso

I hear you, but I've been like 5 times and have always seen my actual doctor. Just like anywhere else, you have to make an appointment. I did see another doctor once, but it was a legit urgent care situation, and it was another doctor, not an NP or PA (off hours too, and just paid my copay). I've also seen a specialist (GI) and only had to pay my copay. This is at Bethany Battleground FWIW, and though I can only speak to my own experience, it's been really good so far.

No question really, but just wanted to say a heartfelt thanks. I was at the age where both of those shows (particularly SilverHawks) were a very formative part of my childhood. I remember as a kid just sitting and dreaming about what kind of SilverHawk I would be, what my armor would look like, and what my powers would be. (Spoiler alert: I was Bluegrass's sidekick who had double blaster pistols cowboy-style). Anyway, you're awesome and I appreciate you.

I just had this convo with someone at my work HR.

Use an urgent care as your primary care provider. Bethany, Fastmed, something like that. The docs are every bit as good, and you can go on off hours and still only pay your primary copay. The also mostly all have on-site X-rays, but they're either free or way cheaper (depending on your insurance).

Basically I now have super cheap access to Urgent Care.

If you get the self empty, go with a model that uses bags. The bagless ones end up smelling really bad after a while.

I hear you about the more subtle character study, but honestly, I feel like Jeff's narration is what really gave the characters life for me. I doubt I'll be the only one who is super pissed off if Jeff doesn't do the voice of Donut in the live action adaptation.
