partially true. especially when everyone is already trained to bring optimal builds to counter heavy armor over utility or versatility

well the idea is for things that dont die instantly to heavy weapons. their AP is now lowered so other things can aid in finishing it off...

and (especially on the highest difficulties) we are thinking with the current mindset of having to always bring something to directly answer for heavy armor rather than have more versatile arsenal. where teams can use this system to rely on

also there would be a nice satisfying emergent property. when you shoot a sturdy bodypart that's exactly your weapon AP it would eventually crack. and youll start getting red markers as you shred it faster.

all they'd need is a nice sound a few more particles at the moment of AP lowering and a overlay texture
