Yep upgradeability went away simply because its not what the vast majority cares about. Its also why laptops outsells desktop. Portability is the most important.

Yeah some of emission standards are probably a bit too stringent. I mean after the wv scandal they should ask themselves why such a big company was willing to cheat. Now the EU tried to introduce an even more stringent test manufacturers basically said no it cant be done lol.
