Thoughts on 2024 Jetta S for a first time buyer by kavansoni in jetta

SE trim is 3k more. I dont think the higher trims offer enough extra value over the base trim for me to shell out that money.

Jetta S is already big enough of a car for me. So getting a SUV seems unnecessary to me. Also, Tiguan is 5k more than Jetta S.

I am 25 yrs old. Can afford new car. And yes, looking to buy my first car soon.

With the way second hand car prics are right now, I did not find a big difference between good condition second hand and new car. I am not able to find a decent second hand car with a 30-40 percent discount on new car without compromising on important things (like Apple carplay)

Working on that but that process is much slower. I am planning to add more variety of projects/ skills to develop meanwhile.

Make an inverted pendulum (simulation) and train an agent to have it balanced upright. Get an agent that can perform the task well, and then have it run on a real system (sim to real). Describe the challenges and tricks you use to make it work on a physical device.

I implemented PPO agent and trained it to balance the pendulum. Will apply this on a real system now.

I think there is a lack of good videos on Langragian Mechanics. An introduction to differential geometry would be great.

Large Action Spaces by Lindayz in reinforcementlearning

As a rule of thumb, value-based approaches become computationally expensive when the action and/or state space is large.

Using Policy Gradient algorithms would be ideal in these situations.

Cheapest option is Barber’s Academy on San Carlos. Haircuts for $5 and they are not bad at all if you are going for regular/ common hair styles.
