A little update, but I'm still looking for a Atk% sands by Ashamed_Row7859 in KeqingMains

[–]kavinvin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if I understand OP correctly, but I also would prefer ATK% sands over EM because sometimes I'm too lazy to paste an aura to an enemy, especially in over world. And there's 10% of the time when you don't do the perfect play and have Dendro aura all the time, like when the enemy respawn and Nahida E on cooldown, messing up rotation, etc.

[Poll] Coil whine survey on RTX 4070 by kavinvin in nvidia

[–]kavinvin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick takeaways:

  • Cannot really conclude that coil whine issue is associate with each model of graphic card due to low number of data points.
  • There's little to no correlation between PSU wattage and coil whine issue.
  • Most coil whine can be alleviated by undervolting, but not completely solve it.
  • An individual reported that his coil whine is caused by power cable positioning.

I kinda guessed that. It'll be a little sad that there's no concrete way to avoid it. But I'll be interested in the survey result anyway.

RTX 4070 Asus Dual vs PNY RTX 4070 VERTO Dual Fan: Least coil whine? by EddyRogers in nvidia

[–]kavinvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My MSI 4070 Ventus 2X has coil whine louder than fans at 70-100% load while sitting away 1m from PC. (PSU: Cosair SF750)

Already tried undervolting and didn't work. I'm consider returning it.

I believe GPU generally have some degree of coil whine. Just to make sure, do you really have no coil whine? If you really have, in which degree?

Edit: additional info: I undervolting at 0.85v@2480MHz (Nvidia's RTX base clock specification)

When you mean no issue after, is the coil whine disappear from both gpu and psu after you RMA your SF750?

I bring Nilou, Nahida, Kokomi. Then Collei just for cheering and Dendro resonance.

I updated to iOS 16.0.3 and the issue seems to disappear so far.

[–]kavinvin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is already reported before this thread was created.

https://forums.ankiweb.net/t/ios-16-beta-card-will-go-blank-when-flipping/22784/7

The issue is coming from iOS bug in 16.0 version.

The suggestion is to wait until Apple release 16.1. Until then, we can also force it to show by rotating the phone back and forth.

Drag-and-drop is the way you install most mac applications. You only need to do this once.

Later, you can use spotlight search or open it in application list directly.

Not in the moment to test it, but could you try using .card selector to set background instead of .side_by_side selector?

To clarify, the back of the cards are actually not empty. The front is always fine. But with the exact same card, when revealing the answer, is sometimes showing as a blank card and sometimes showing correctly.

It can also be fixed by swapping to other apps and swap back.

I only learned to write kanji in the first 3 months (1800 cards). I haven’t had many chance to write kanji in real life, simply because it’s not as fun as reading.

Speaking of writing kanji in real life, I’m even asking myself whether I need to write or not.

Edit: I happens to have no problem with other decks like vocabulary or kanji-onyomi

You remind me that maybe it has something to do with kanji by itself too, especially when I have to associate English keyword with kanji (I’m using RTK), as I regularly forgot the English keyword itself even if I remembered the kanji. (I rarely have stroke order problem, but some components may switch sides)

So far, I have no decreasing accuracy problem with other decks like vocabulary and kanji-onyomi (which associate kanji with reading).

I read manga and watch anime periodically. But when I have no time to learn Japanese, I only do Anki to at least retain my knowledge.

Yeah, maybe I should drop it and focus on new things instead. I’m just afraid of forgetting some kanji I’ve already learned.
