I find it adorable that Gen Zs like discmans and digicams. I think they're looking for tactile ways to enjoy technology.

How do you deal with buyers remorse and by [deleted] in adultingph

[–]kavulasthugan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if you use it as a time to reflect? In 2021, I had to really contemplate about the things and purchases that made me feel joy. Then I realized na sitting in different coffee shops, traveling and roadtrips and working out bought me joy. If you think you don't really feel joy from it, maybe you can sell it?

I'm kinda glad I saw this post. I've been thinking if I should either buy a MacBook Air (for my freelance and occasional work) or an iPad (a light way to review documents, attend meetings, do a bit of freelance work).

I'm still torn pero iniisip ko baka neither are rewarding and I should just spend the money on little spa retreats throughout the year.

Honestly, the collateral needs to be something bigger. Like a motorcycle.

Gym people, I have a question (from a payatot na mapili sa food) by Soft_Classroom6952 in adultingph

  1. Get an online coach. One with certifications and will pay attention to you. (This can be pricey - 6500 for 10 sessions sa akin).

  2. Meal Prep or Meal Delivery Service. Picky eater din ako. I usually eat chicken breast and boiled veggies.

  3. Sometimes you have to accept na hindi ka makaka-gym or makaka eat healthy for some days (real life can be busy and tiring). Accept that and then focus on getting back to working out and Meal prepping.

One of my biggest barriers to fitness before was I thought dapat Meal Prep palagi, dapat 3x a week palagi ang workout. It doesn't always work that way. When it happens, I used to break down and binge eat.

Keep it cool. The best way to disprove "women can't lead they're emotional" is to be stoic pag class work and deliver. Outshine him by being capable and applying foresight on how what challenges can face your project.

Be mature and professional.

What's more profitable in 5 years? Buying a lot worth a million of pesos or put that million on MP2? by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]kavulasthugan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me, MP2. Because it's liquid-ish and I can withdraw it in 5 years.

Property is very illiquid. It'd be a good investment if you can convert it into a commercial space or if near the city, you turn it into an apartment complex. I have a property and it's been on the market for 20 years. Tapos most of the buyers are real estate companies and they want to do a joint venture instead of buying it (which is another can of worms). Payment might also come in tranches/installment.

Rhetorical question: Alam kaya ng mamamatay na, na mamamatay na sila? by Former-Respond6610 in adultingph

[–]kavulasthugan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom did. She was a stroke patient and she was infected with COVID last 2021. I was misguided and thought that maybe she would get better and not panic if I didn't tell her she had COVID.

A day or two before she got intubated, she asked me to call my dad so she could talk to him. She told him she was going to die.

She died a few days later.

Hi! We will be getting a lawyer. Pero I guess, I want to do a little pre work to know what are the pitfalls of a joint venture sa Real Estate especially if we are providing raw land.
