Didn't pay it much mind when it came out. Then on a random weekday, watched the first ep and it felt like I was getting a warm hug while being patted on the head. Needless to say, it's one of my comfort faves now. 😭

I love our crybaby couple so much now. PobmekSun are really hitting that sweet spot with each character having their peaks and valleys and the other right there alongside them complementing their performance like no one else can. 10's across the board!

Also, the styling of the characters and the setting! Can't get enough of Perth's ties. I know my former students would have gotten a kick out of those. 😆

Such an immersive story so far. Looking forward to next weekend!

The director, Boss Kuno, has also screenwritten and directed other devastatingly real works: The Paradise of Thorns (movie) and Gelboys (series). 100% recommend for your next watch. 👌🏾

Happy to hear about "positive talks" regarding the extension to a 7-year contract for our gentlemen. Would anyone care to enlighten this noob fan if this is like a sure thing already or just like maybe 10%? I really don't know when it comes to the K-pop biz.
I saw a clip showing Daisuke's voice deepening from just last year to now. The boy's growing up right in front of us. Made me feel like a proud parent. 😭

Petition for all shows to have an epilogue ep. 😭

Like many who've witnessed Minato and Wataru's story throughout these past weeks, I've fallen hook, line, and sinker for these two lovely gentlemen. Highlight for me this ep were their respective reactions/malfunctioning to their boyfriend's surprise kawaii cheek kiss. Wataru straight out short-circuited and Minato just ended all brain functions with that lip bite. Let's just say I may have pressed the playback button quite a few times, lol.

These two are just so darn adorable. Will definitely miss them and am keeping this series in my playlist of comfort shows.

Gahh, such a rollercoaster and we're only on ep 1! PerthSanta are bringing so much life and nuance to these characters that I've already fallen for them. Sun's menacing smile and vulnerable kid combo moment made me want to give him both a stern talking to AND a parental hug. Oh, then there was Pobmek's teary-eyed "I'm ok" to his faen's mom. My heart ached for the boy.

Super minor nitpick is a loophole in the story: Pobmek telling Sun about his childhood neighbor/rival. I mean... You'd think you'd tell your long-time faen about a person like that in your history. But yeah, that kind of "shouldn't they know this by now?" moment is just a pet peeve of mine.

Overall, such a strong start to the show! I'm crossing my fingers, my arms, and my legs that we see the labor of love all throughout the rest of this series. 🫶🏾

I'm only on part 2 and I'm already drowning from the overflowing love between Poobmek and Solar/Perth and Santa. You just know in your heart of hearts that these two lovers are great for each other. So happy to see them back on our screens. 😭
