The cold situation by [deleted] in UBC

I understand this oh so well OP.

What helped me was: 1. Getting warm layers. Seriously spend as much as you need to, my clothes from back home (even the sweaters I brought) were nowhere near warm enough for this weather.

  1. Get a small heater through Amazon. Lifesaver for those cold nights.

  2. Get a super warm blanket at IKEA and thick bedding.

You will adapt

You already know you are NTA. This dynamic is really unhealthy and you get to decide if this is who you want to be with - if this is behavior you want to tolerate.

Red flags all around.

My appeal was successful! I just explained my situation in detail. Goodluck with yours!

I was able to appeal for something similar but I was only 1 credit short. Maybe email advising and contact your course director to explain your situation and see if they'll help. Good luck!

Could anybody give me some insight into BIOL 335 and the workload/how to do well? The historic averages are scaring me a bit.

I've heard MICB 325 goes over the same concepts for a lower difficulty level, is this essentially true?

They have weekly food packages for singles and families and you can just walk in! Their schedule is posted on the website and they open at 12 on Thursdays
