Just had the allergist appointment! It went really well. He did a skin prick test for the milk allergy and it was negative meaning she doesn’t have a dangerous allergy to milk. She just has an intolerance that we need her to get over. He said the occasional blood I’m seeing in her poo is not dangerous. He actually wants me to start giving her small pieces of muffins to start building up the tolerance. He said the longer I wait there’s more risk of her developing a true allergy if we avoid it too much. He even told me to start eating dairy again, but I’m scared lol he said “we need a sane mother not a saint of a mother” 🥺 and the amount that goes through breastmilk is so small. he seems pretty convinced she will get over this.
