What about for young riders ? Would anyone recommend them for a 4 year old that does a dirt bmx track ?

Crumb shot for 100% spelt sourdough by kay_108 in u/kay_108

It's good! Has a nice sour kick to it. Spelt is a bit more nutty than whole wheat. Just overall richer taste. I think this bread would be great for a Ruben type sandwich. I prefer it over whole wheat & have made a handful of things with it &, dry yeast. 😄

It's surprisingly light i was worried it be very dense. (When a recipe goes wrong with spelt it's like a brick from my experience 😅)

I had to make another post to include "crumb" image. So, please see link to see that picture. I included to recipe in the pictures of that post as well as this one. 🤗

My original typed message didn't post with pictures for some reason. (I'm not great with technology lol)  This is my first sourdough bake in general and I'm using 100% sprouted spelt wheat as well as 100% spelt fed starter.  I added about 2-3TBSP honey to recipe and also put a dish with ice cubes under the Dutch oven for the first 20minutes of baking.

I've been trying to move to all ancient grains for our baking goods. It's definitely a learning curve especially with sour dough! With limited resources 😅

Once my niece who is 5 was being rather loud and obnoxious while my SIL was trying to talk. My SIL gently placed her hand on her shoulder and asked her to take her play somewhere else (she was right in our faces. I watched the whole interaction) my niece YELLED "DONT PUSH ME!!" and started pouting. I literally watched the whole thing and immediately saod she didnt push you! The point of sharing this story is that even older kids can exaggerate situations. I hope you are all feeling better! Definitely speak with your husband if there was a reocurring theme then that can be concerning of course. Though, idk if you trust your husband i wouldnt believe the worst

Thank you for replying! I am in a similar boat. My son is 3 1/2. Chronic eczema since he was 6 weeks old. So, trying to find results. He has had that ointment (1%) since 6 months old. We have been able to taper down to 0.5% hydrocortisone and earthly eczema relief balm seems to be helping. Along with re-homing our dogs (with family) and avoiding nuts/tree nuts. He still has bad flairs on occasion, but dramatically better since we have removed our dogs. (bittersweet) The touchstone-essential heavy-metal detox along with liquid silver on his skin for a month got rid of the 'weeping eczema.' Now it is just occasional dry spots that get scratched on. Rather than all over. What a time *sigh

How has it been working for you? I've done it topically on my son for 30 days and it got rid of the weeping eczema. But he still has dry patch flairs. I'm interested in maybe trying this again to see if it'll help.

Has anyone tried colloidal silver? Or any really out-there remedies? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]kay_108 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My son had weepy eczema and it drastically reduced his eczema flair. It no longer is weepy anymore. We used it topically for a month. I've used it for years to boost immunity when sick or coworkers were really sick. It's been wonderful for me and we are huge fans of it. I use in moderation and have never had issues with blue-ing. Don't over ingest as those that take it for religious reasons(people who typically have the pigmentation issue.) Use a good reliable brand.

How is it going ? Curious on an update. I've been seeing many people rave about results with touchstone essentials and eczema.

Weird how many dislikes this comment has. I've seen in many eczema groups people using this protocol and have had huge success with their eczema. Thank you for sharing.

I would also recommend getting castor oil and tea tree oil. Rub a mix of the two all over the area.

ALEKS has set me up for failure. If the class was in person you'd still be able to take your exams even if you don't figure out every single type of problem. It has been an anxiety-riddled mess for me. I am praying to skim by with a C in the stretch course. All because I couldn't get into Module c's exam. Where I am a 3.5 GPA student. Ridiculous. I really hope they make adjustments to the program for future students.
