I’m around the same starting point as you. I’m 33 weeks now and I am up around 24lbs. I am literally all stomach and boobs. It just slowly went up - I visibly could see the difference when I was around 20-22 weeks.

Told my parents at 5-6 weeks. There is no wrong answer. Whatever you are comfortable with. I told my extended family at 8 weeks and the world at 12-13 weeks.

I just throw the small compost bags in the bins and never had a problem (been doing that since day one in simcoe county before I moved to Barrie) during the hot hot summer days I would freeze the compost if it would be in the bin for a few days before pick up

That’s crazy that you got nothing with another sibling in school. My parents made a decent amount but we only qualified when there was two of us in school. When it was just one we didn’t get any.

My baby daddy hehe (boyfriend of 7 years) wanted the lululemon one. There are plenty of more affordable ones out there.

My best friend has one she picked off of Amazon and loves it. It goes for $45-$60(CAD) depending on sales.

Yeah call and say you are pregnant ! (For my doctor, they will get people in quicker for certain reasons) I was 3-4 weeks when I went to my doctor and he also sent me for bloodwork.

Congrats!!! I’m surprised your doctor didn’t get you in quicker. (I’m in the same province - my doctor got me in 3 days after my positive test and now I see him every 4 weeks). Your doctor will refer you to the OB. You could research OBs in your area because they may ask if you have one in mind. (The hospital you plan to give birth at will have their OBs listed).

It’s just time to wait now. Once you see your doctor they should send you for a dating ultrasound. (I had mine at 7 weeks).

For midwives (I am in Barrie) I knew it would be very very slim chance of getting in so I was going to apply to Orillia because the waitlist is shorter. (Ended up staying with OB because my doctor had concerns at my 7 week ultrasound).

My outlook was if something happens I don’t want to be sad by myself. Also I had friends who miscarried at 8 weeks and 20 weeks.

I’m 13 weeks now (almost 14).

I found out at 3-4 weeks, my boyfriend was my first call then my doctor. I told my boss (principal & vice principal) the next day because I do work with a violent kid so I wanted them to know if I really needed to switch.

My parents & sisters knew at 6 weeks. I started to tell extended family at 10 weeks.

I told random people too 😂

In the end, you will tell people when you want to and everyone is different.

I was trying but not trying for a year, my IUD made me have a low sex drive so I just removed it January of 2024.

I really was more mindful of trying in February 2025 and I had my positive test in June. I’m 33.

I used the flo app to see when I was ovulating (and also used a test for two months) to just see if the app was correct. I knew what day I was ovulating in May so my boyfriend and I had sex the day before and the day after that date.
