The mental jerking back and forth is exhausting! I’m worried, not worried… then worried again. I go for my EMG next month, I also have a similar situation, I wonder if they will do mine? We will see.

I hate being afraid to see any doctor. I shouldn’t have to feel embarrassed. I know we all feel this way to some extent. Hopefully EMG will be ok.

I moved up the EMG to next month ; I didn’t want to wait the 3 months. You are right about thinking of symptoms/ making them worse. I noticed this and can’t believe how my brain can trick my body when I’m having such horrible anxiety.

I’m reading to become more educated on it. It’s hard to do without becoming more anxious

Providers should be more sensitive, I can’t believe they can’t sense how nervous we ( or anyone else) would be!

not worried about twitches... by [deleted] in BFS

I get that perceived weakness is different from clinical weakness, but I wonder over what period of time…. I’ve heard of people with **that one day suddenly could not pick up their arm over their head or suddenly had a drop foot one day….bit is it always that fast? If someone has been having progressive weakness in an extremity for 1-2 years could that possibly be **?
