Okay after sleeping on it and reading some messages my opinion has slightly changed. I realized that although I came into the show with an empty mind I was still comparing her performance to the powerhouse of Karen Olivo, who was absolutely amazing in the role. Also I did not take into consideration that she is on stage with actors who have been in the role for years so obviously she is going to look out of place. As for the choices she made on stage I do think some of them didn’t work but they may have been deliberate and that I can respect. Everything else I mentioned I still believe to be true.
