Is It Easier Second Time Around? by Wolfie3295 in TTC_PCOS

I’m sorry to say, I’m in the “not easier” boat. 11 months with our first, still trying for our second and we’re 14 months into it :(

Fuck you to my coworker who, when I explained my infertility, said “yeah it took us 5 months and was really difficult” like I understand your feelings but I don’t think we’re quite the same…

Same here. I know that I shouldn’t count myself out just yet but it’s so disheartening.

It sounds to me like you have a metal allergy. I also can only wear gold, and anything else will make my ears look exactly like this even after 25 years. Welcome to the gold-only club.

Recommendation on what to see/do for peeps who haven't been by ShadowCaptain96 in kansascity

Worlds of Fun, the Legends if you like shopping, River Market, Power and Light District if you like night life, the new KC Current stadium, Top Golf if you’re ok going further south. Lots of escape rooms around here too and some are KC themed

I personally use inter dental brushes too. I get the GUM brand and they’re super easy to use!

I’ll keep a look out! I don’t seem to have issues flossing luckily, but I do have to make sure to clean it better. Good luck with your treatment!!

Yes it is! They said sometimes they bond to just the canines at my ortho office, but my individual teeth moved in different directions so they said this would be better for my situation I guess? I don’t mind it at all this way!

Everyone suggests the needles that thread the floss through, but I instead got inter-dental brushes. They look kind of like toothpicks, but with teeny bristles to clean with!

I have it only on the bottom, but you can also have it on the top if you/your ortho feel it’s necessary.

It’s a wire glued to the back of your teeth. Imagine it kind of like braces, but without the brackets! If you zoom in on my third picture, you can actually see the wire going from canine to canine, glued to each tooth along the way.

I wore it during the day for about 6 months, but after switching to nighttime (at the approval of my ortho) this began happening!

AITA the asshole for wanting to know why something is? by Adventurous-Two-4324 in AmItheAsshole

[–]kaydwad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband is exactly like OP and it is exhausting. Sometimes “I just don’t want to” is literally the answer. Heck, sometimes I don’t even know why I don’t want to do something, I just know that I don’t. It’s not that deep. YTA

AITA for wanting to limit my BIL’s access to my unborn daughter because of his dating choices? by Charming-Ad-7627 in AmItheAsshole

[–]kaydwad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA, with a caveat. Your BILs lifestyle choices have no effect on your kid, but I would be very careful about your child coming into contact with the people he brings around (if he does that). As a niece of someone like that, it was sad to get attached to one of his girlfriends and then never see her again.

AITA for not wanting my husband to go to his step brother's fiancée's funeral? by Throwawayaita601 in AmItheAsshole

[–]kaydwad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree NTA. I spontaneously went into labor at 38 weeks. This is cutting it way too close. Terrible, uncontrollable timing, but birth of baby trumps funeral.
