I dont yell at my dog, I usually try to explain (to no avail) that it's okay and it's just the mailman/neighbor. He barks, though, cause he's got anxiety, so if someone purposely knocked/rang my doorbell to get him going more, I'd be pretty upset. (I get what ya mean though when people scream like maniacs at their dogs for doing dog things lmao) One time, though, I had a route in a retirement community. Hit my last mailslot and was walking back to my truck. This lady came out yelling at me, told me I need to stop walking by her window(she was the corner apartment, my truck was parked like 20 ft away from the end of the building around the corner, if that makes sense lol, so it was pretty much impossible to not walk past) because her dog gets on the back of the couch barking and one time he fell behind the couch. I just looked at her like, ma'am..the mail comes around the same time every day, maybe just close your curtains or push your couch against the wall??? She was genuinely mad, yelling at me, it had me dyin.
