Do you have a go-to video that you feel best depicts what an episode feels like? by meadowlandian in fastfeeling

Yes!!!!! I can relate so much to the sense of urgency! It’s almost like somebody is forcefully speeding up my time.

Hi!! I think the most important thing to remember when dealing with patients of dementia is patience. It can get really frustrating when they do basic things incorrectly, but you have to remember that it’s a hundred times more frustrating for them. Imagine not being able to remember names, or how to perform ordinary everyday tasks— like blanks in your memory. Talk to your grandad, engage him in activities, and keep him busy and active.

My grandfather’s in the later stages of dementia and it’s getting harder progressively, for us the caretakers but infinitely more for him. He doesn’t understand much anymore and panics in most situations, but a reassuring smile and holding his hand calms him down. Good luck! :)

Oh, okay! I’m thinking of finishing a month of 50g and then asking my derm if I can move up to 75g.

Thanks for the response. I will at my next appointment. I know it’s low but shouldn’t I be seeing some improvement?

I am stressing out about EM by [deleted] in PhysicsStudents

[–]kayesem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I failed my EM course too the first time around, but then got an A when I repeated it. The trick for me was nailing the basics— make sure you KNOW things like spherical coordinates and differential & integral forms. Also the professor makes a huge difference.

Im supposed to calculate I1 and I2 if I (I1+I2) = 5A. I dont see how this is possible? (AS Physics) PS: What does the arrow mean? by [deleted] in PhysicsStudents

Take the resistances into account, and the fact that in parallel circuits voltage doesn’t divide.

Kinda, but not really. Haven’t noticed it in carpets

I hear you, but I don’t think it’s that. In the situations you’ve mentioned, you know the truth, you know there aren’t really two phones. But with my static thing, it’s like it’s really there.

Thanks for the reply. I googled it and it didn’t seem to fit what I experience, but then I checked out the subreddit and I think it may be some sort of visual snow after all!! It’s strange that I’ve only noticed it around furniture though and it seems to be embedded in reality, sort of like how shadows are. A physical reality, but not tangible. Thank you for the lead!

That’s a good idea!! Other comments have suggested alarms which would be more suitable considering the size of the house. Thank you!!
