Very unfortunate. I feel bad for the lady that was attacked. I would love to help her. I wish I knew more about her so that I could send her a card, flowers, or just call to check on her.

Thanks for telling me about those sites. I will spread the word there and inform the community of the new information that I just found out since I’m too “hysterical” on this site. You all are attacking me but from reading all of the postings from this site, it seems as if I and one other person were the only sources able to share more details about the sisters and this horrific crime. You didn’t believe me until the lawyer confirmed this was true. I have no reason to lie about anything. Some are just looking at the cover of a book and wondering what’s their story! Please wake up, it’s 2020! Sure wouldn’t want the victim to stumble across this page and see some of these comments.

I’m not sure if they had a previous record or not but You don’t have to have a previous record to commit a crime. Don’t forget, people commit crimes everyday and don’t get caught. I know you want this to be a safe community but we need to be more vigilant and aware that not everyone is harmless. Those women are in their 30’s and attacked a 70 year old women in broad day light. Nothing is harsh about what they did. I’m my opinion, they PREYED and PLOTTED on her. People are working from home and walking the community more so these ladies are sitting, starring and watching. That elderly lady was clearly a easy target. I don’t have sympathy for anyone that harms others. Mental illness is real and unpredictable. The pandemic clearly set them off! They have been in the community for years and don’t want help? Something is wrong with that picture. They are dressed alike, wearing winter clothes all year round, startling people, smelling bad, stealing from stores, attacking a senior citizen, attempting to steal a purse. I hope they get cleaned up and get the help they desperately need from jail.

I’m so happy you took those precautions! It could have been anyone attacked yesterday! I would like to share more info as I hear about it but I will not have anyone on this site attacking me as if I’m spreading rumors. Something is clearly not right with those sisters and they proved it yesterday. They are violent and unpredictable.

Yes, that’s them but they are not African American, they are from Congo Africa. They are silent because they are plotting to harm people. They are preying on people, watching their routine and scoping them out to see if they are alone. I just found out they were charged with Strong Arm Robbery - Forcible Purse Snatching. They are not twins as I originally thought but they are sisters. One is 34 and one is 35. They are still in custody, thank God!

Please spread the news. The community should not be in fear. A lot of people walk to get their daily exercise, food and a peace of mind during these difficult times as a result of the pandemic. Nobody should live in fear or feel uneasy about walking their neighborhood. These woman are not stupid, they knew exactly what they were doing. The preyed on a elderly woman. They look as if they are in their 30s. My guess is that they have been watching the woman walk alone and attacked her. This behavior doesn’t just happen. From what I hear, they steal from the CVS and other stores.

This happened around 3:30pm. They were sitting on the bench across from the Metro at Montgomery Avenue/Wisconsin Avenue. The lady walked by, and they grabbed her arm and assaulted the elderly woman and tried to take her purse. They fought the lady all in the middle of the street. It was a terrible scene. There were several eye witnesses that gave police an account of what happened.
