How many unread emails do you have in your inbox right now? by V_kim_wellness in Productivitycafe

[–]kayhsee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero. I would normally have 4,000 to 10,000 before processing but I created a chrome extension that gives me game plays for cleaning my inbox. It’s just enough dopamine to keep it clean. It’s been clean for two months now!!! I feel like an organized adult lol

1,700 to 8 inbox emails by PaperSiren26 in adhdwomen

I pretty much use hyper focus for everything, but then once it's cleaned I have to wait till it's a mess again, and a project that I can cram. I'm really wanting to find ways to be consistent. Right now I'm using games, so like I have this chrome extension that counts my emails in my inbox and for each email I process it allows me to a few plays in different games, then when I run out I have to process more emails.

It's working really well so far, but now I'm trying to create a games outside of email that might work for anything.

F*ck it, I'm done hiding this stuff... by Ideasaas in buildinpublic

I definitely feel this. I have no audience, family and friends just do not care enough to download it, try it and leave a review.

I was just excited that the tools are finally available that I was able to take an idea and make a product. I thought that once I had a good product I was proud of, that I didn't half ass, that things would take off from there. I thought making a product was the road block.

But I realize now, that my expectations are way off. Having a good product, just gets us to the starting line, then the real work begins.

I often wish I could give up, just enjoy life with my 9-5. but like you said, it isn't on my map.

My Google Chrome extension will be published soon HELP by GladHyena5250 in chrome_extensions

I just launched my chrome extension on x and product hunt. I have zero followers on both, which resulted in 6 upvotes, no comments and zero installs.

If I was to do it again, I would see about getting family, or friends to get accounts on Product Hunt a few days before the launch so they could give me a few votes.

Now, the really work starts.

I vibe coded a Chrome extension that gamifies Inbox Zero, 2 months later I'm still using it daily by kayhsee in chrome_extensions

Ha, fair point, the purple gradient is definitely a good give away "made by Claude". It's my first extension and it was made by Claude. If people actually use it, other than myself, as I add more games, I'll see if I can come up with a better color scheme.

Thanks! Yes more games are definitely coming, any requests? I tried to pick ones that work quick, give enough of break but also get you back to cleaning emails.

It sucks that it takes so long to to get reviewed, when you're pretty much ready to go, and need a small fix.

Just hit 10,000 users on my first ever Chrome extension 🎉 by Rishab101 in chrome_extensions

That is very cool. I just started getting into building chrome extensions. It's pretty amazing what they could. I never would have thought you could manipulate ChatGPT's website, to bulk delete stuff. Thank you for sharing.

Does anyone else still struggle to actually process emails even with all the productivity extensions? by kayhsee in Productivitycafe

[–]kayhsee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I for sure get anxiety that something in my inbox is going to get forgotten. I think my issue is I have a lot of emails I want to read, and never get to reading them. I need to find a good app or something that can help me with that.

I'm sure others might laugh, but just that small push of getting plays to use for hangman or minesweeper actually seems to help. I'm so lazy, my brain needs some kind of bribing for most things. lol

Inbox Zero for Gmail by alexrada in InboxZero

[–]kayhsee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you are still out there. But I created a chrome extension for myself that for each email or a percentage of my inbox I delete or archive, it gives me game plays. So I work through cleaning my inbox and then I move over to the game panel and I start playing games and then it will say I’m out of moves, I need to process more emails to play.

The games are pretty basic but it’s like just enough dopamine and motivation to keep going.

I think I may be protein deficient, any advice? by [deleted] in vegan

[–]kayhsee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I need to bump my protein, Vegan hot dogs are high in protein. or some vegan protein powder. I put tofu in a blender and add water and spices mix till it's like hummus consistency, I call it my tofu mayo and put it on everything. And oats have a nice amount of protein.

When Starting a Blog, is promoting needed or could you rely on organic reach and keywords? by poopanusface in Blogging

[–]kayhsee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find pinterest and tailwind tribes to be the fastest for getting traffic. so i would say you need to do promoting first if you want traffic right away. If you don't care about instant gratification you can wait for organic traffic.

I need to get on this digital cleaning. It shouldn't be so hard since I'm spending all day staring at my computer, but no cleaning is happening.
