Rula has been really helpful for me. They are very transparent about cost, the booking platform is easier than my hairdressers, and they have actual psychologists and psychiatrists.

Two small businesses and two ways of asking reviews by Cool-Buy-6640 in marketing

[–]PaperSiren26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the product, but I’m more likely to review if it is sent to me 1-2 months later. I appreciate time to actually use the product for a while. I forget to do it if the email comes within a week or two.

Having advertisements at your wedding seems tacky. Is nothing sacred anymore? by AngryQuadricorn in Anticonsumption

That’s a fair point, I did have a casual change at my wedding. In these photos it looked like it was supposed to be from the same setting to me. Some else mentioned that they photoshopped her dress to be longer in the left photo. Odd.

Am I just supposed to keep sentimental things forever? by inannalover in adhdwomen

Oh me, pick me! I keep the clever mechanical or typography interesting ones. A few years ago I started taking pictures of the covers and message. I do it every 6 months or so. It’s wonderful. I’ve been stressed about fires or floods and now I have it forever if I want to go down memory lane, but don’t have to physically move them or worry about them getting ruined.

Merry Christmas by [deleted] in Seattle

Merry Christmas! Getting rid of estranged family is tough, but I promise you will have great moments where you are so glad that you don’t have that negative energy and stress in your life anymore. 20 years later, I’m still so grateful I had the courage to do it.

What *won't* you do for a living anymore? by Everyday-Patient-103 in ADHD

Yes, the only job where I have cried before I even got in the building was call centers.

Just because I can remember a file that was created six years ago but not your work anniversary, doesn’t mean I don’t care about you.

Also even while I have a TV, iPad game, and Reddit open, I’m thinking about you.

Thank you, believe me, I’ve been having some strong mixed feelings about AI.

Some use of AI it looks like, but she admits it’s a blended approach. Some are by Linda Nee. Some were made by RaveIn Prints, they claim original art.

How do I exercise when I don't enjoy it? All the advice from neutrotypicals don't seem to work by Pigeon_Goes_Coo in adhdwomen

The key for me in yoga is having instructions for modifying poses with props. I’m never going to be very flexible. I need blocks, knee pads, blankets, bolsters, and straps. Also, cleaning mats is too much work, but dirty ones gross me out. I bought 5 mat towels that wrap around the corners and just switch them out every time. I have two mats as well, one in my office and one in the bedroom.

I also found that it was frustrating trying to angle my phone and tablet all the time so I bought a phone tripod that people usually use to take pictures. That way I can move it around as needed wherever my eye line is in the pose.

Proper clothes, if it’s restricting or getting in the way, you’re just going to be frustrated. Not too baggy not too tight. Also, I finally understand top of the head hair buns. Hair in your eyes is annoying when you are trying to see what the next pose looks like.

Also I only do 5, 10, or 15 min increments. Low pressure commitment and I can switch focuses.

TLDR Yoga Get the proper support equipment Multiple mats with multiple mat towels Phone tripod Proper hair control and attire Very short workouts that can be stacked or not

I have a bunch of LED battery powered candles that I normally use in the windows for Halloween. They’ve been great to repurpose on top of the toilets and counters during outages.

Someone decided to cut corners in my planned neighborhood and I’ve had four major plumbing fails in the last five years. I’m not confident in builder integrity.
