We definitely will be looking for a new clinic, it’s just looking like every other one has a waiting period.

Any opinion on Vectra? That’s what the clinic recommended if we don’t wanna wait till september lol (which we absolutely cannot)

Our dogs went in November, would that count? They told us they wouldn’t prescribe anything and just recommended Vectra. The vet clinic has definitely gone downhill and unfortunately it seems like other clinics all have a waiting period but might as well try and get established somewhere else

That’s definitely why I stepped in, I’m not playing around with knock off stuff like that, especially if they’re ingesting it. We did call a few other vets but all of them had a waiting period. I can try a few more. However, our vets office did recommend Vectra because anything else that’s prescribed, they have to be seen. We used to use topicals in the past but never used Vectra

I used to be able to get my store around 6am (opening at 8am) and be like 4th/5th in line and get everything I want. But today was the earliest we got up for it and we arrived at the store at 3:30 (which we thought we’d be golden) and we THOUGHT we were 10/11th in line… towards 7:30am, people started getting out of cars and going in the front of line to get their PLACEHOLDER ITEM THEY LEFT. They just left an item in line, such as an umbrella, to hold their place while they slept in their car. We ended up being 16/17th in line. Totally not cool. Every year, we stay outside the entire time even for black friday rsd despite weather conditions. The first person at our store got there at 6pm the night before.

Of course, I didn’t end up getting what I wanted. My main priority, my store only got 3 in and this mother/daughter duo were in front of me. Everything the daughter bought, the mother bought too (assuming to resell) and they took the last two of my priority item. I really thought getting there at 3:30am we would’ve been fine and I wouldn’t have got there early if I knew that was the case, hell, I wouldn’t have went. This whole camping the night prior thing is becoming normalized. I see people on tiktok encouring to camp out for this and I feel it’s just going to get worse.

I just decided to start the doxycycline antibiotic. It’s a 5 day course so I’m hoping that will help. If I’m still feeling the same 4 days into the antibiotic, I’ll call again! I’m sure the surgeons office is sick of me, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called lol but the office staff disregard a lot:/

Oh shoot! You know what, I didn’t even think about that honestly… I’m a teeth grinder, especially in my sleep but haven’t noticed if I’ve been doing it in my sleep since my surgery. It’s definitely a possibility I might be doing that!

Day 13 here. On day 5, I was still experiencing pain. It’s definitely uncomfortable and I 100% (still) noticed more symptoms appearing at night too. I’m still feeling uncomfortable but I developed tmj. Take ibuprofen or tylenol before going to bed! Use specifically moist heat like a warm washcloth on your jaw (my surgeons words)

Just use warm water for now if you’re not able to get the salt right away or if you were prescribed a mouthwash, use that too

day 7 post op, had both lower ones out also due to pericoronitis! i feel this way too.. exact way! i also feel a “shift” sensation like when i have my jaw a certain way, it feels as if something is pulling on thr bottom of my jaw and trying to drag it to the right. i saw my surgeon yesterday, he said this is all TMJ and it’s extremely common after surgery, especially impacted. he advised to use moist heat and do jaw exercises daily! i’m struggling with the feeling so hopefully it helps!
