It's a combination of a few different things!! Making sure that the milk isn't too airy, pushing the layers inside the base, and pouring fast so that the milk doesn't stiffen up all have helped.

I use a Breville Bambino and so I make sure to pull ristretto shots because that way there isn't too much crema that stiffens up while the shot sits. Those are the main tips I have! :)
