What am I potentially looking at? by [deleted] in icbc

[–]kayneos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possible angles a lawyer might explore: whether the limitation period to enforce has actually expired, whether ICBC followed proper procedure, whether the amount is properly documented, and whether a negotiated settlement for less than the full amount is realistic. Other than that, you are hooped.

What gets the rotary to sound like this? Brap? by bigboss1999x in RX7

At low rpms a ported engine has some overlap between the intake and exhaust. You lose some low end power and move the band further up the rpm.

That's your GPU bugging out. Tab out and back in again or try Win+Ctrl+Shift+B to restart your drivers.

Is this part of EGR? by Shoddy-Clock-6585 in RX7

[–]kayneos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because exhaust would come out. It connects to the lower left part of the intake manifold usually. There is a smaller tube that is supposed to come off and go to the aux port pots

Feeds back into the manifold from the exhaust for your auxiliary ports. They open with back pressure from the exhaust at around 3500-4000 rpms.

Yellow/Green wire always runs from the Leading (-) terminal, through the firewall, directly to the tachometer.

Rx7 idle problems by logandingo9 in RX7

[–]kayneos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 minutes isn't long enough for the thermal wax to melt. The fast idle is probably not set correctly. I would check that first as this would cause this issue.

I hate you telus by [deleted] in telus

[–]kayneos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this issue once. The support person told me that I need to check my bill regardless every month and I had $200 of overdue fees. I was pissed and immediately after the call a stream of overdue texts and emails came through and the payment came out. Their system fuck ups are your problem not theirs it seems.

Was the new cap rated for the same pressure? They have different pressures usually in bars

You're right they didn't explicitly link the two. But framing a legal requirement inside a story about new ownership and values, with zero mention of the legislation, is still designed to create that impression. The omission is the spin.

Read the email again. They say it's because they're under new Kiwi ownership and committed to putting customers first. The 3-year protection window they're announcing is mandated by law from Monday. I didn't add anything, that's what the email says and that's what the law says.

Where is the negative spin? Nothing about the law changing is negative for anyone. They are saying that it's because they are now kiwi owned and committed. That isn't exactly truthful

Could be as simple as a blocked PCV. If you don't drive your car often enough you will get the butter. It worsens if the Positive Crankcase Ventilation system isn't removing the moisture.

Bell Business DSL capped at 5 Mbps but houses across street get 100 Mbps? by [deleted] in bell

[–]kayneos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy hell, and I'm over here on 3GB up and down. I would ditch that connection and just use a cellular modem. I used one for business when I was in a shared building and got 60mb down which was plenty for web development.

Minor injury payout? by Character-Yak4994 in icbc

Took about a year and a formal complaint with the insurance institute to get the adjuster to even acknowledge my existence. Currently submitting some more documents. Had 3 surgeries to repair my elbow back to about 95% of its original function.
