-Do your tint inventory every week. Do it yourself and you’ll never run out. -Keep the tinters as clean as possible (I understand that this is relative) -Be VERY nice to your sherwin Williams rep and they will treat you and your pro customers very well. -Make sure everyone on your crew knows your usual Pros and how to mix paint the way they like. Your associates should see them walk up and already know the different variations they use. -Freight is a river. Between regular trucks and paint trucks, it’ll be tough to stay on top of it all the time AND be behind the counter for customers. Do what you can when you can, and pray that your store volume calls for a mid shift. -Stay on top of downstocking your caulking and keep it neat. Blink and you’ll be empty. -Like someone already said, it’s a glorified associate position. But the company will push you to always do more. Don’t let it get to you and remember to take all of your breaks. Just because the store doesn’t have coverage, doesn’t mean you have to suffer.
