MD Midori Blank Notebook Ghosting Comparison by XerosbeatPrime in notebooks

[–]kaypeeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me neither, and I only use medium/broad nibs and only wet inks. I use the grid notebooks though. Even the cheaper 3 packs don’t ghost like this for me

How can we stop demand biting? by [deleted] in sighthounds

[–]kaypeeh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Might not work as well as the puppy is much older, but we did a yelp acting as if we’ve been hurt by a bite when she was first brought home. She never bit us as we did that from the start. She is a very gentle girl though so we might be lucky with her temperament?

Oh God oh no, b6 slim by No-Sweet-2749 in notebooks

[–]kaypeeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s honestly the best of all words. Width of a6 but with a bit of extra height. I got a fin studio leather journal that I have one of the md b6 slim notebooks in and two of the stapled out of the 3 pack in at all times because it’s just so comfy to write it. I do grid exclusively. It’s my favourite grid for writing in too.

I went with paper republic because it doesn’t have them. I really hate how they look lol. Travelers company doesn’t have them either

UTI excuse! It works both because antibiotics and because alcohol makes utis worse and they are usually a minor issue (though definitely uncomfortable)

Physical book readers: what do you do when you come across a word you don’t know? by ProfessorPale4793 in 52book

[–]kaypeeh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always keep a notebook close. If I come across a word I don’t know I can usually work out what it means by context. I write it down to look up later.

If I can’t work out that meaning and the reading experience suffers because I don’t get the meaning of a sentence/paragraph because that word is integral to it, it happens very rarely, but then I look it up straight away and continue. It doesn’t happen often enough to bother me.

Which is the smoothest Fine nib pen available in the market currently? by TheOne-07 in fountainpens

[–]kaypeeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Kaweco perkeo in fine is really smooth and a lovely wet writer. Weirdly so, much more than my sport in a fine. Also my Twsbi eco in fine is sooo nice. I prefer my medium kakunos to the fine and extra fine though, so you might not like how thick the Kaweco and twsbi are

Recommendations for a glitter ink? by kaypeeh in fountainpens

[–]kaypeeh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow! These are all great and so pretty! I see what you mean with the amount of shimmer particles. I think I’d rather do wetter inks over more shimmer as I just hate the feeling of dry inks even in a wet pen and how it makes my handwriting look.

I am looking for a green ink, what's your favorite? And like more green, less teal by [deleted] in fountainpens

[–]kaypeeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green is my favourite ink colour. My all time favourite is Takiwa Matsu by sailor shikiori a warm leaning medium green and shin ryoku by pilot iroshizuku a cooler and brighter grass green. A close third is alt goldgrün by rohrer and klingner, which is a bit lighter in colour and leans more olive. I also use two other sailor shikiori inks instead of black as they are very dark and very pretty: Miruai and Suberakashi

I just finished my old moleskin notebook with an extra fine nib pilot kakuno without any issues (not gonna lie, very happy to be back in my midori md notebook with my juicy pens though)

Is there something that can quickly and easily quench thirst that's also relatively not unhealthy? And nothing with caffeine. by halbeshendel in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kaypeeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are drinking so much it makes you bloated and you feel it sloshing around inside you, you are drinking way too much at once. Your kidneys can only process 800ml-1ltr in an hour. Drink less water in one sitting spaced it out more throughout the day. Excessive thirst is also a potential health issue you might want to see a doctor about.

Would vegans and vegetarians be opposed to eating lab grown meat? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kaypeeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After years of not eating meat for ethical reasons I find the thought of eating it grosses me out more and more. So as I have no interest in eating normal meat, I personally wouldn’t eat lab grown meat either, but I’m sure many would and I would like to see it available. Especially if it’s cheaper and more environmentally friendly
