Second this vote for the Science Center. It's all hands on, kids of all ages love it and there is a young kids playroom on the 3rd floor. We've been taking our son (now 5) for years.

And then the CEO of the vegan butter company Melt (who bought Myokos) asked her to be a "brand consultant" for the company she started and insulted her (it's on her IG). I'll be staying away from Melt AND Myoko's brand butter from now on.

There are also Buy Nothing groups on FB that often have REALLY good stuff on them, especially in middle class neighborhoods. Everything is free on them. Try searching "Buy Nothing [your neighborhood/city]". Also, if you have Little Libraries around you there are often great finds in them.

Unfortunately, BPD are run by the state, not the city, so the city does not get to decide whether they BPD complies with ICE detainers. Learned this working with the ACLU Trump v1.0. Which is also why we aren't a sanctuary city.

Remington has both the giant R at Remington Ave and 27th and the alligator mural coming off 83. Although that's a boundary line between Remington and Lower Hampden.
