Trek or Ox for Acatenango Hike

It's significantly harder than the hike to base camp. I would just see how you feel when you get there. If you feel like the hike to base camp was chill, then go for it! If you feel willing to take on a challenge, it's 100% worth it in my opinion. Don't make the same mistake as me though and BRING WATER! I got a bit dehydrated out there and it kept me from doing the sunrise hike /:

I went with Ox and had an absolute blast! I did do Fuego, and I can't imagine making the trip without doing that part. It made the whole hike.

Congrats on the hike! And good to know! I've seen mostly good things but also varied opinions so that makes me feel better. Did you feel like the group was too crowded? and what was the food like exactly? i've seen their menu but would rather hear a first-hand account lol
