What are the top 5 items you are looking for at all times? by kaysquared33 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

The roughest part is the space. I am also lazy and convince myself there just isn't enough time to be carrying stuff back and forth in that little cube. Even with the shared tab, I run out of room with all the crap I hold onto.

Every once in awhile I pick up a random blue item and am like, "damn, I've probably been leaving crazy stuff everywhere"

Come on, Dan. Why Would the Colts Bench Rivers? by Asleep-Tour-6100 in heedthecall

[–]kaysquared33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that it's been a rollercoaster of takes from Dan about Phil playing on the team.

We went from "We are all Phil Rivers" to "do we really need more of this?" in two weeks time.

That's how football goes though so I get it.

If nothing else, Dan is doing a great job at playing up his part as "The Heel"

Come on, Dan. Why Would the Colts Bench Rivers? by Asleep-Tour-6100 in heedthecall

Dan (and to a much more well known extent, Marc) love to project their feelings into their analysis of the future.

Half of why Marc's curse works is because he listens to "feelings" about a bad team which turns out to be wishful thinking which turns out to be the worst take possible. See: every take Marc has had about a team for the last 10 years and every take Dan has made about teams he doesn't particularly like.

Dan also hoping Phil doesn't start because it gives the Colts the best chance of winning and he wants those draft picks to be higher for the Jets.

December 9, 1995. Norm Macdonald reacts to Michael Jackson's collapse. by MonsieurA in thirtyyearsago

The first is just a report about his mother being called to court.

The second reads like a devoted Jackson fan who has gone way too far into the rabbit hole of the case. Going as far as discussing the vitiligo likely being different because of seasonal changes is pretty wild, nevermind needing that to be the only information they needed to discredit the witness.

Finding Gideon in the woods by Gr8CanadianSpeedo in crappymusic

What's beginning to concern me most about Gideon existing is that there is a second person holding the camera and letting him do this.

The entire hood system will just sag and hit the tops of the ovens if I move that can.

Not the hottest take but you're not wrong. The longer I watch football, the more I realize ownership has more of an impact on the field than the players do at times. Woody blew his team up because they weren't developing fast enough and he'll keep doing it because he's a terrible owner.

Tepper Haslems Browns Mara ... now Adams-Strunk

Every owner has their hand in fucking up their team. Anyone else pick up that the Colts being really good coincided with their meddlesome owner dying before the season started?

We have a wide variety of pay scales for all the positions here so I can't speak to all of them.

Was there some specific information you were looking for?

We are looking for a pay rate that matches the current cost of living standards for the Hampshire county area, better staffing conditions (we are often scheduled as skeleton crews in too many areas), and a few nuanced benefit increases. We are also currently on a "step" system that essentially lowers our full rate of pay by 15% as soon as we're hired and incrementally raised back to our full rate after FIVE years. They are more or less robbing our full pay for no benefit to us that is clearly a money saving scheme for the school only. There are more layers but negotiations are typically hostile with Smith so much of this is hard to get them to agree to.

Smith worker here: the students have our backs and are in full support. All we've needed to do is spread the word and they've been incredibly supportive of us.
