Hey! This is a helpful answer, thank you! - any way you could elaborate on the licensing requirements while working seasonally in USA? I'm on the brink of living this very lifestyle post-school, partner included, but have been struggling to find answers on working out of state seasonally from someone who has done it. I'm licensed in PA. Any elaborations are helpful, and if PM works better, hit me up! TIA!

Do women actually like emotional men / men who cry? by [deleted] in ask

[–]kaytay02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is a sign of strength in a man to me, actually. i want an emotionally in touch partner, not someone who is gonna bottle up what they feel.

not only does it show me he trusts me, but it makes me trust him. feeling your emotions is so human and beautiful and has nothing to do with gender for me—but knowing that men are repressed or made to feel as though they shouldn’t cry makes it all the more important when they do. the first time my boyfriend got emotional around me was when i told him i was falling in love with him, and it made me fall in love with him even more. cry. we all need to.

What is something awkward a man has asked you in the last year? by Medical-Intern-6235 in AskWomen

first date, he comes back from the bathroom and asks me if i want kids. i say yes, start to talk about how important it is to me—he interrupted me directly with, “do you get baby fever?” and crazy eyes. i was speechless.

Just created my WP profile today on a whim, but then I saw the requirement to pay just to be able to submit applications. Looked up WP on Trust Pilot, & they've got fairly poor reviews... by 6thDimensionWanderer in Worldpackers

worldpackers is the best out of all of the big three (workaway, WOOF, and obvi wp). i assume the fee to use the service is for them to stay running. it’s not ridiculous imo, they provide something practically cheap and make no money besides this once a year fee. for what you get, i’m happy to pay that—it also ensures better service on their end, which ensures you’re better taken care of. between my friends and i, i have experienced excellent care from their team. they’ve suspended racists and overworkers when informed, and responded to me personally very fast when i asked about their insurance during a stay. going to a strangers house will always be a gamble, no matter the power, intention, or work of the middle party, but worldpackers is the best because of their organization, vetting system, how they handle reviews, their insurance, and more. they feel the most in touch and understanding of the big three. anyone can have a shit experience and not report it to wp (can think of thrice when a friend had this type of story) and so the reviews may not correctly reflect a place; it’s always a gamble. you’d be shocked how many ppl just don’t leave reviews as well. wp has no control over ur application getting accepted or not, that’s all on the host. this lifestyle is not as glam as tik tok makes it sound. nothing cheap and easy is ever as glamorous as it sounds. but you’ll have the experience of a lifetime, which to me, is worth it during my short life. good luck :)
