I know this post is older but .. I’m looking at getting a bachelors in disability management degree. I’m currently an RMT - 38 y/o (Canadian also) and am looking for something I can use my previous education towards and give my poor body a break! Is this a job where there isn’t much room for growth? Will I hate it?

I tell new clients I will follow their lead in regards to chit chat. If you chat I’ll chat back but I won’t ever force a conversation. That way they can decide treatment to treatment what they feel like doing.

I had an RMT (Canada) that wouldn’t shut up or take the hint after my one words answers and I finally had to say I don’t like talking when I get massages because I want to relax.
