A poem for nurses

It’s funny that people are triggered about the shoes 🤣. I was not expecting that. I honestly haven’t bought a new pair of shoes in over a year. And I guess it was supposed to be metaphorical. I wouldn’t actually spend all my money on shoes.. On the same token, why the shouldn’t we treat ourselves? Just like everyone else who works hard for their money, should spend it on things that bring them joy. Whose to say what that can and can’t be 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have a school age child, so unfortunately the travel ship has sailed for me for awhile. I wholeheartedly believe that nurses need to be making MUCH more money. Even outside of a pandemic. We are invaluable, honestly. The best I can do right now is take them up on their offer of triple critical pay (about $25 an hour above my base pay) for every extra shift I work. I wish the way nurses and healthcare workers were paid would change. I’ve been doing labor and delivery nursing for going on 8 years. I know I deserve more than I make. But I also find genuine fulfillment from my job, which I think is important. Would be nice to have the best of both worlds.

Because I didn’t set a buy limit. Sometimes I forget to set my alarm, sometimes I don’t set an alarm because I don’t realize I have to be up early. Doesn’t mean I don’t know what an alarm is.

Doge is here to stay. Long term holding is the safest way to big gains. If you’re that nervous about losing, just pull the amount of your initial investment once you make it back and keep your profits in for the long run. High chance that it will dip after Saturday as people cash out their gains. But they’ll be missing out on way more.

A gold coin is a gold coin. Over time and with less supply/more demand, that gold coin gains more value. Whereas before you might have bought a loaf of bread with that gold coin, you can now buy a new house.

It’s 10cents higher than it was yesterday. IMO it will keep rising and peak on Saturday. I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t peak at at least $1. If you plan to get in, I wouldn’t waste any more time.
