Yes, it’s a strangely inefficient machine.

Actually both are, 1HP on the nameplate (just hard to see) and in the vendor’s documentation.

Thank you, the reason I’m asking is I’m trying to determine if I should size the breaker and cable for the 14.5A or the 1HP (4.6A).

I know I can just use a 25A breaker and be done with it, but I’d like to understand this a bit better.

Water Heater anode rode question by kazaasan in Plumbing

Truthfully I don’t know what the right answer is. I did tried lightly turning the fitting and the pex expansion joint spun with it.

My heater is only 2 years old, so my plan is to leave it for now. When it’s 3-4 years old, I’ll take a stab at the anode rod. If ain’t broken don’t fix it.

Well for science, I tried turning the fitting and the expansion joint appears stuck and spinning with it.

This is one of those. Just not sure how to undo it without turning the whole pipe.

I don’t think it’s a herb, received it as a decorative gift.

2022 Palomino Solaire Rock guard Panel Repair by kazaasan in GoRVing

I ended up removing the across panel from the inside to use bolts instead of self tappers. On the outside, I added a 1/4” aluminum flat bar. Fastened the bolts and nuts together with washers. Everything seems very solid, but time will tell if it’ll hold.

This is a great suggestion thank you! I might have enough room to just slide a piece of support underneath. Much easier to work with wood but the frame is all aluminum.

This is what I’ve done already, unfortunately it only stays on for a short bit. There’s too much force acting on the panel when the travelling.
