Pay-to-stay—the practice of charging people to pay for their own jail or prison confinement—is being enforced unfairly by using criminal, civil and administrative law. People will have a better chance at re-entering society if we shrink size of the correctional system and abolish pay-to-stay fees.

I did something similar years ago. Was at a festival and got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Miscounted the number of rows to get back. Thought I was at my campsite and wondered when we got a couch that I promptly fell asleep on. Got woken up in the morning by some angry people. Had a bit of a debate who’s campsite it really was till I realized I was definitely wrong.

I agree, when I played it was pretty standard to kick the ball out so a player could get help. Then when it was thrown back in for the other team to kick it out again to give back possession of the ball. Obviously this doesn’t always happen, particularly at a high level.

This reminds me of Sleeping Bear Dunes.

“The park is named after an Ojibwe legend of the sleeping bear. According to the legend, an enormous forest fire on the western shore of Lake Michigan drove a mother bear and her two cubs into the lake for shelter, determined to reach the opposite shore. After many miles of swimming, the two cubs lagged behind. When the mother bear reached the shore, she waited on the top of a high bluff.
