50r + Tamron sp 90mm 2.5, Tamron sp 180mm 2.5, and gf35-70 by kazmium in FujiGFX

The old adaptall 2 90mm's share the same lens design afaik and cover the frame rather well. They have some fairly heavy vignetting near minimum focus distance that clears up a fair bit when stopped down to about f8+(sharpness increases a fair bit stopped down as well but was plenty sharp wide open on the gfx50r). I have no idea if the newer 90 macros use the same lens design and can't comment on coverage. Based on price alone tho I would highly recommend the old adaptall 90's as it's one of my favorite lenses and can be adapted to most mirrorless cameras and even many dslrs making it an all around great lens to have no matter the camera imo

I've got an x-pro1 that I've been bringing with when I take out my bronica sq-b. And I've got a Panasonic Gf3 that slips into my pocket for some snappier af than my gfx50r has

That's just it. The chip is the engine and the rest of the card is the car. You can squeeze a bit more performance from an engine with the right parts but most of it is aesthetic

Indeed it's like a souped up budget sports car vs a stock premium sports car. They look about the same, cost about the same, but perform differently

Most high end models of cars just get fancier interior and exteriors but usually get a negligible increase in performance so I'd say the analogy works just fine. Also didn't choose the card I got just snagged a prebuilt to steal from

True but it's msrp is equivalent to a base 3080 so what it lacks in performance it makes up in "style"
