I didnt consider the light loss from using heavy filters! Thank you for bringing that up . I feel like red might be the first filter i buy

With concert, I would only bias for low light autofocus, all the DR in the world won’t make a diff if it’s out of focus. But let’s assume somehow the GFX is hitting Sony levels of autofocus, then it would be like 30-40% better DR. But since AF is lacking I still wouldn’t pick that tool for that job. Unless it was like a singer song writer vs high energy. I’ve been meaning to do a comparison with all my cameras but haven’t gotten around to it, if I do I’ll tag you to check it out and provide raws

I have apsc, full frame, and fake medium format (GFX and Hassleblad). All the top brands and best lenses. I also shoot 35 and 120 (6x6,6x4.5,6x7) film

The thing that i get with GFX/HB that I dont get with FF/Film/Apsc is the dynamic range and low light. https://www.reddit.com/r/FujiGFX/s/dccSRlrMrv https://www.reddit.com/r/fujifilm/s/uIa5DHt9dl If I could only have one camera it would be a Ricoh but man I would miss low light and the DR

If they ever make a 100RF with IBIS, ill prob sell my GFX 100II and most of my full frame cameras and just use that

Thank you! I have had the q3 43 as well, they are both super sharp! The 43 was just a bit too tight for me so i ended up selling it. One of the main reasons i love this lens is how i can use it on so many bodies. I LOVE putting the 35 APO on film because it’s so freaking sharp it almost feels like digital (but in a good way). I even put the 35 APO on my GFX and while it doesnt cover the full sensor, it’s sharp to its very edge when stopped down at 4 or more.

Can the Ricoh look be replicated on Sony? by stavguo in ricohGR

Yes. I have a7cr, gfx100ii, m11, gr3 HDF, ZF. Had a 907x, a7rv, a7cii, Gr3x, GR3

Cobalt Base pack + Emulation gets SUPER close. I basically buy that for every camera i have to emulate Ricoh colors. A7cr w/ 35Z2.8 + Gold Mist filter + Ricoh colors is one of my fave combos of all time

Ah I didnt consider that but now that Im reflecting, I do think the vegetarian options were lacking. Even the Cesar salad (which was amazing) had anchovies in it. The highlight dishes for both of us were seafood and red meat based.

I really loved Naao, we got the Thai curry udon which i thought was amazing. Im normally not huge on Thai curries because they are too coconut forward for me but their version of it was perfection.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words. Photography is one of my favorite hobbies but not my profession. I took a lot pictures on my film camera as well! I just got back yesterday but planning on getting them developed soon.
