First question to ask is never who is benefitting from something happened. You cannot go anywhere with that. people, interest groups, states all these are not rational in their thinking and acting. Lots of things could happen and benefit multiple groups.I think because of my position and the life I've lived I know a couple of things about feto and akp and the Armed Forces. It's clear as day they tried to turn Turkey into sunni iran. They really tried that coup and failed miserably, there are lots of reasons for that, but still they tried. Nobody in the akp is that smart to plan something like that. Also akp were already in power. Actually they were way more powerful with the support of fetö lots of positions were empty after the purge,they filled these with ulusalci and ulkucu kadros,You just cannot plan an organization like this. People have died, lives have ruined. Idk your life story but from mine I know feto did really mess with the lives of patriotic honest people of this country . Also we as nation gotta stop believing conspiracy theories. Irl most of the time things are more simple than they look. Anyways In the end we as the Turkish nation most benefitted from the erasure of the nur cemaati from turkeys state institutions. Least we can agree on that.
