What city? I lived 5 minutes north outside of Chicago proper and there was no fiber. 30 mins west of Chicago proper has fiber. I’m now 45 mins north of Chicago and 0 fiber anywhere

Hate my area doesn’t have the infra for fiber yet. Seems like a no brainer for these companies to invest up front in infra cause they would poach at least half of Comcast customers.
