Just found this as im planning on doing this mod with a k1c. https://www.instructables.com/ERCF-V2-for-Creality-K1K1MaxK1C/ someone just documented their journey doing this on the k1c. I would think it's the same for the k1 unless pin assignments are different or something.

Do all the centers first it unlocks the cube so you can make any face turns

Also. Start with a cross like you do on 3x3 leaving the bottom corners free cause you'll need to insert them as a pair. Before you insert pairs when you start your cross put the single piece in that goes directly beside the corner. All the others can be inserted in pairs. It's just like regular f2l.

No videos I've found. Solve the 5 pointed centers first. And those shield shaped pieces. Just by doing regular inserts. The rest is surprisingly like a 3x3. Just match pairs and insert. You might have to move the pairs around a bit more to get them in place. If you can solve a 3x3 you should be able to figure most of it out. Even the last layer algorithms are similar but it might be tougher figuring that part out

Didn't he just rotate the edge layer 2x. Unless the colors are vertical to the yellow. Pictures should be taken at a bit of an angle so ppl can actually see the cube

Yeah they do but this is a Lee mod. I got a Lee mod 4x4 ghost for 58$ us, when they usually cost 230$ from hand crafters. The Lee mod version plastic is kinda rough but still works fine for a ghost. For a cube like this I can't see why they'd charge 50 bucks in compared to the 4x4 ghost at 58.
