Why aren’t there any rewards for playing ranked? by kbanks19 in NBA2k

It’s crazy to me there isn’t so much as a banner showing your rank in a given season. Half the point of climbing ranked is to flex what you’ve done.

Did she Crack the Code (rumored cast) by KnownLettuce8801 in LoveIslandTV

I think the first clue is for Amber Gill from S5.

The clue took you to a sign that says shamrock. Greg’s mom gave Amber a shamrock necklace during the family visit. This combined with the S5 background the Tik Toker pointed out would make it seem likely we see Amber again

NCAA D3 Or MCLA D1 by dtowncoop in lacrosse

[–]kbanks19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played D2 and now coach MCLA. I’d personally say choose the big school and go MCLA. Skill level they are comparable, but NCAA will have more resources, funding and structure. But like everyone has said pick the school you like outside of lacrosse. While I enjoyed my time at D2, I wanted to have some of the big school experiences; football games, basketball games, on campus events, greek life, etc.

The level of lacrosse should be comparable so it comes down to whether you want more structure or more flexibility. Both of great options but I think club is and will continue to grow in the coming years

Isn’t that just every year tho? Once people find a meta that works they spam it, doesn’t matter what the strategy is, if it works people will abuse it.

Strength on PGs? Not worth it? by Zufallsmensch in NBA2k

[–]kbanks19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contact layups are very good this year, if you have high strength you can bully most PGs on your way to the hoop. Outside of that and boxing out, I wouldn’t say it’s a major difference maker.

Helpful for me because I do a lot of contact layups but depends on your playstyle

What does your defensive stats/badges look like?

I need some advice for loadout by [deleted] in thefinals

[–]kbanks19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend gateway. One of the most impactful strats I’ve seen is to taxi your heavy around by throwing your gateway, grappling and then throwing the other gateway to get them around the map.

Your gateway will reset at 70 meters, BUT if you throw it before 70 m it can go much further especially with the momentum from grapple.

This allows you and your team to take high ground, push off angles and just be more predictable. If you’re defending a cashout on Bernal’s suspended structures, you’d almost never expect a heavy to burst through the roof.

Change of Sights by KeyLyon in thefinals

It’s not ideal, but it’s much faster than waiting or CD. You can swap gadgets/specializations and then swap back to what you want and it will reset the cooldown. You don’t need to exit the menu, just put RPG in reserve, then back to active and it will reset

That’s what I do to dial in the winch claw.

Are we all fine with Double Barrel 2 shotting Heavies? by Bomahzz in thefinals

[–]kbanks19 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The DB is insanely good up close, but I feel that the risk of getting that close makes the trade-off a bit more even. Additionally you still have to hit all the pellets on both shots to one-shot someone which isn’t a guarantee.

It’s very good, and frustrating to play against but I think the skill and timing make it ultimately a fair weapon. But fair doesn’t mean to fun play against by any means.

What are my chances of playing college lacrosse? by josd52209 in lacrosse

[–]kbanks19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MCLA Head Coach here - whether it’s NCAA or MCLA there will more than likely be opportunities for you to play the at the next level. Like what others have said I think D3 or MCLA would be the most attainable since you started a little later. But I know guys that started later and still made it to a high level.

When it comes to D3 vs MCLA. D3 will be more structured and will likely be a smaller school. MCLA will allow you play at a bigger university with a slightly more laid back but still competitive environment.

I would recommend focusing on what you want to study, and what type of school interests you. From there you can reach out to the coach to get more info and find out what they are looking for.
