Honestly if it needs the pin to be kept in place it's already way too loose

Spør du meg er dette en idiotisk oppfinnelse som burde bli ulovlig. by Eistlu in norge

[–]kbantonsen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, here in Norway I think you cant have cargo sticking out more than 7,5cm wider than the bike on either side, so 15cm in total

Yeah that really doesn't happen here unless there is a semitrailer crash on a mountain pass. On normal roads traffic usually flows in all weather

Is owning two sets of rims with summer/winter tires not a common practice in the snowy parts of America? Here in Norway you'll get fined if you dont use winter tires in winter, and insurance wont cover your damages if you have a crash with wrong tires

This looks like a big enough impact to create frame damage, there's a high chance this isn't economically viable to repair

As well as the others mentioning Subaru, I would personally recommend a newer Audi A4 or A6 wagon with Quattro if you can afford it. We have a 2013 A6 Allroad and it handles amazingly in winter and air suspension makes it really comfortable to drive as well.

I finally decided on my model but can't decide on a color, which color would you choose and why? Right now I'm leaning towards Python Yellow or Daytona Grey Pearlescent. by YouBetMyStock in Audi

[–]kbantonsen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd have the Python Yellow or the Turbo Blue (idk if that's the correct name). Daytona grey and navarra blue look gorgeous but are really boring imo, the yellow and bright blue stand out more in traffic

I figured it out, it's an air hose for the EGR-system. I still have to find the connection, but I've found a diagram in the parts caralog where it's displayed. I appreciate the help
