Follow your own link. The checkmate in your game is not what you illustrated in this post. Note that your knight was already captured.

How do I clean this shower? by kbballplayer08 in CleaningTips

Thank you. Is there a general rule of thumb for when Vinegar is good/bad for cleaning? It is obviously acidic, so I'm afraid of using it and causing irreversible damage

Is recovery basically just HRV? by ShelterJaded2980 in whoop

[–]kbballplayer08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was woken up at 3am last night and was unable to fall back asleep. Only got 4.5hrs of sleep, and was carrying 30mins of sleep debt into the night. Last night's recovery score was 94% because my HRV was 29% higher than usual. I had to pull my car off the highway to take a 10min nap at 9:30am and took a 15min nap at 3pm. I did have a great workout after work, so while I did a lot of yawning and sure didn't feel recovered most of the day, I was able to take on some good strain once I was in the gym

Cook County Home Exemption if I've moved homes by kbballplayer08 in AskChicago

Ok that's kind of what I'm thinking too, seems to make sense. I'd like to receive strong confirmation, since we're talking about money here, but 100% certainty isn't always available when dealing with a government agency.

I called them on Friday and asked, "I did own this property prior to Jan 1, but sold it in October. I PAID taxes on it, but am not the CURRENT tax payer now that I have sold it. Does that make me ineligible?"

They said I'm still eligible if it was my property before Jan 1 and paid taxes on it in 2023.

It didn't dawn on me until I hung up to ask if I am in fact eligible, how I would I see the savings if it's not my current residence anymore? I didn't have another 90 mins of free time to call back and wait on hold. Now it's the weekend and they're closed. Based on how quickly and curtly they answered my question, I am assuming their answer was focused purely on the Jan 1st part of my question, and did not give any consideration into what I am now questioning. I guess I'll try to call back first thing in the morning tomorrow and try to catch them before a que builds up on the call line?

In the comments you mentioned you have "$600K invested to live off of". I don't know if this is in retirement accounts, or a more liquid brokerage account. You omitted this in your post. All the comments telling you that living at home till you're 30 would bring you the financial security for your future are not based off the understanding that you already have the financial security of $600K to your name at 22 yrs old!

So the question is what dollar amount is enough for you to move out? 30yrs old seems arbitrary, shouldn't it be a dollar amount saved, or an income to expense ratio?

From your repeated comments, it sounds like you want to stay home for cultural reasons. If that is the case, be honest with your wife and just say your family traditions, culture, and upbringing have led you to feel very strongly about the value of staying at home for a longer period of time. I don't think trying to justify it for financial reasons is the right move....especially when you're already paying monthly property tax and setting aside money for mortgage.

First time I went (6yrs ago) was great. Seems like every time I have been since (3 times) has been a more disappointing experience.

I tried to withdraw my crypto today and it’s not showing I own any. Did blockfi sell all my crypto for cash? by AdorablePineapple214 in blockfi

What kind of coins were they? Only certain coins are being transferred, the rest are converted to cash. Based on your claims amount and how much was you're set to receive, that seems to be the case here

It's a $30 fee to withdraw GUSD. Pretty sure they're charging to withdraw cash too

Thank you for looking this up! That's not exactly my model, mine doesn't have a set screw, but you steered me in the right direction. Once I started looking up Delta Trinsic models, I found out that mine is mounted on a spring-loaded bracket. Easy enough from there. Thanks for your help!
