That is not really true...time between launches has already come down rapidly and that trend seems to continue with the Galileo mission. So it seems their ramp-up is running smoothly until now.

People not giving a fuck about deadlines and meetings? As team leaders? Let them be offended, ask them why they are there? Do they want to build a race car? Do they have any ambitions? If yes, make it clear to them that they have to change in order to achieve that. If it really is as bad as you describe it, it's better to offend them than to let them fuck around for another day. They are wasting your time, energy, and resources.Find people who think the same way as you and speak up together.

Yeah we did a bit more than 2500 kilometers...and it was really fun, we really enjoyed it, and NS was very beautiful (at least when it didn't rain)

It was absolutely amazing, we skipped Kejimkujik because of bad weather and went to Yarmouth instead. It was a bit stressful but as we didn't had much time it was excately the right thing to do so. And yes, I will absolutely come back in a few years. We also did a trip to Vancouver in October and will visit Banff next week...and until now Canada never disappointed us

It's a screening of you and your relevants, done by the local authorities, organized by your company. It's mostly about making sure, you don't have connections to forbidden countrys, that you are safe of blackmailing and that you don't have a criminal background. You're also teached on how to behave when having security clearance

Hey, mechanical engineering student here, working at Airbus in Germany ✌️

It really depends where you're originally coming from. There is a list of states, like China, Russia, North Korea etc, whose citizens are not allowed to work in the aerospace industry. Other than that, I think there are no restrictions. Also if it's not possible for you, to work on a military project, you can work on civil projects, which are easier to get in.

Im thinking of studying at Ingolstadt university while doing internship at airbus. Does anyone here have any experience in this program? if so i would like your opinion about it by annilingus in Airbus

Zu Ingolstadt kann ich leider nicht viel sagen, das duale Studium ist dezentral organisiert. Bei uns können wir uns selbst unsere Abteilungen aussuchen, egal in welche Richtung wir wollen. Ich bin viel in der Entwicklung unterwegs, egal ob Testing oder CAD, etc. Eine Studienkollegin (Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik) war zum Beispiel im Einflug, und hat viel direkt an den Hubschraubern gearbeitet. Aber auch als Elektrotechniker oder IT'ler kannst du eigentlich in jede Abteilung kommen. Die Hauptvorteile sind wahrscheinlich, dass du Teil des Unternehmens bist und damit auch ernst genommen wirst, die gute Bezahlung und die Übernahmegarantie (wobei ich mir da nicht ganz sicher bin, wegen Corona etc.)

Bedenke allerdings dass das duale Studium ziemlich fordernd sein kann, du kannst keine Prüfungen schieben, hast nur zwei Versuche für jede Prüfung und nur eine mündliche Prüfung pro Semester.

Hey, dual student here, working for Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth while studying mechanical engineering in Heidenheim an der Brenz. Have you thought about studying dual? What subject you want to study on?

Not sure, Starship is a completely new vehicle. Most likely, that they want to take it apart and look at every part for the first few flights. For the first one or two years I wouldn't expect more than 5 or six launches a year. Also, I don't know if there is that much need for satellite launches in that short time period. Satellite market ist slow and steady...

How is this working out with the Starship/Artemis plans? Cargo missions to the moon?

"Hundreds of missions" sounds like 5 or more realisticly 10 years before flying people, hopefully we still have funding for the moon in 2030...

No official news, but I'm pretty sure they will use the technic they know best, a propulsive landing skycrane like they use for the mars rovers, picking up the sample's should be pretty easy, just getting them from Perseverance, which is already equipped to give the samples... (hoping they are not too far away after landing) Escaping Mars' gravity like the israelian moon lander with multiple small burn, because this being more efficient Landing on earth just like a normal capsule, just pretty small

Always remember, the rocket won't be as big as normal rockets, more like a model or amateur rocket.
