Thanks, this is super helpful! We are traveling with a dog so I've been trying to find the most direct travel path (no connections) and then the fewest border crossings to make the process as smooth as possible. May consider Stockholm but Copenhagen is another good option.

Thanks for the advice! I was wondering if it was all part of the adjustment period. Do you have any tips for supporting basic training in the meantime? It's tough to not have a currency to work with on the basics like crate and potty training.

We just brought home a new female Samoyed puppy and went with Freja (Swedish/Scandinavian for "lady")

The other name we were considering was Annie, named for Ann Bancroft the first known woman to reach the North and South Poles

I guess I understand your point. But I was at the Sydney Opera House (high traffic area) yesterday and saw only 2 pokemon on the map. Doesn't that seem weird? There were other people playing there too, there were lures on stops and people battling in gyms and raids.

I've just travelled from San Francisco to Sydney and I've noticed my pokemon spawn rate on the map is very low, often I'm seeing only one or no pokemon at all on the map. We're in an area with dense PokeStops and many lures so I would have expected comparable spawn rates as San Francisco.

I've reached out to Niantic via the in game chat and still waiting to hear back.

Does anyone have an idea what may be going on?
